Choosing a nursing program is the single most important step in becoming a nurse. Your choice of school can make the difference when it comes to passing the NCLEX exam or not. Ask about job placement upon graduation. If you are considering LPN training, ask if there is a program for LPN to RN training that will be available to you in the future. Some courses of study offer online alternatives. Be sure there are plenty of networking opportunities with instructors and other students, because nursing is something not easily learned in a vaccum.
